Cleaning Supplies Direct

At Cleaning Supplies Direct, we aim to provide fast, reliable, and efficient delivery services to eligible UK delivery addresses as follows:

  •  Handling Time: 1–2 business days
  • Transit Time: Standard UK delivery 1-2 business days. Scottish Highlands 3–5 business days
  • Shipping Cost: £10.20 including VAT, or FREE delivery on orders over £120 including VAT to eligible UK addresses. Scottish Highlands and other surcharge areas are excluded.
  • Order Cut-off Time: 2:00 PM GMT

This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, dispatched, and delivered.

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm,  excluding public holidays.

  • We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible after payment has been received.

  • Orders placed outside business hours may be processed on the next working day.

Please note that processing times may vary during busy periods, promotional events, or due to supplier availability.

2. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to eligible UK addresses.

At present, we are unable to deliver to:

  • Northern Ireland (BT postcodes)
  • Republic of Ireland
  • Isle of Man (IM postcodes)
  • Jersey (JE postcodes)
  • Guernsey (GY postcodes)

Scottish Highlands & Islands
Delivery to eligible Scottish Highlands and Islands postcodes is charged at £29.99 including VAT. This charge is calculated automatically at checkout and free delivery over £120 including VAT does not apply to these areas.

3. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Typical delivery timeframes:

  • Most in-stock orders are delivered within 2–5 working days.

  • Larger equipment or pallet deliveries may take longer

Delivery times may be affected by:

  • Courier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Stock availability

  • Public holidays

  • Circumstances outside our control

4. Shipping Costs

Standard delivery is £10.20 including VAT on orders under £120 including VAT.

Orders of £120 including VAT or more qualify for free standard delivery to eligible UK addresses.

Delivery to eligible Scottish Highlands & Islands postcodes is £29.99 including VAT, regardless of order value.

Free standard delivery does not apply to Scottish Highlands & Islands.

5. Tracking Information

Where available, tracking details may be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Tracking updates are provided by third-party courier services and may vary depending on the delivery method used.

6. Large, Heavy, or Hazardous Goods

Some products, including:

  • Large cleaning machines

  • Pallet deliveries

  • Hazardous chemicals

may require specialist delivery services and longer delivery times.

Additional delivery restrictions or charges may apply for these items.

7. Delivery Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate delivery information

  • Ensuring access is available for delivery

  • Inspecting deliveries upon arrival where possible

Cleaning Supplies Direct is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect address details or unavailable recipients.

8. Damaged or Missing Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged or items are missing, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Details of the issue

  • Photographs where possible

We will work with the courier and arrange an appropriate resolution where applicable.

9. Failed Deliveries & Returned Orders

If a delivery is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address, failure to accept delivery, or failure to arrange re-delivery, Cleaning Supplies Direct reserves the right to charge a flat re-delivery fee of £10.20 (including VAT) to cover courier costs.

Alternatively, if the customer prefers to cancel the order after a failed delivery, a refund will be issued minus the original shipping cost. The customer will always be contacted to confirm their preference before any additional charges are processed.

10. Delays Beyond Our Control

Orders placed by 2:00 PM (GMT), Monday through Friday, will be processed and dispatched on the same business day. Orders placed after this time, or on weekends and bank holidays, will be dispatched on the next working day.

While we aim to meet these estimated delivery times, Cleaning Supplies Direct shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier disruptions, severe weather, or industrial action.

In the event of an unexpected delay in processing or dispatching your order, Cleaning Supplies Direct will contact you via email or telephone as soon as possible to provide a revised delivery estimate and discuss your options.
